Mary Northern was very beautiful in her time. Mary was a quite well-known artist and illustrator for one or two of the top magazines in the 1920-s 30's. I believe her most famous work was done for Vogue or McCalls. Most of her work was illustrated fashion designs. But as you can see from this print of one of her water colors, she did some other types of work. The crank gadget says "The Kuty Klipper". Numbered prints of her paintings were auctioned after her death in the 70's.
